How Can Coaching Help?

Coaching is a collaborative, creative problem-solving process. The process helps bright people make and sustain changes in their lives. Most of us have areas of our lives that we would like to change, but we are so busy that we are distracted from actually making the changes we want. Coaching facilitates taking action to move our lives in the direction we desire.

Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy. In contrast to coaching, psychotherapy constitutes treatment for psychological disorders. The coaching services offered by Dr. Warren help people establish priorities, manage stress, make decisions, and make lifestyle and career changes. On occasion, Dr. Warren refers coaching clients to psychotherapy.

Since telecoaching is offered by phone, it can accomplished from anywhere - your home, office, car, even a cabin in the woods. It saves the hassle and time of having to travel to an appointment. Telecoaching can be conducted individually or in groups of people facing common concerns. The groups promote brainstorming, networking and collective support. For clients uncomfortable with a telephone format, Dr. Warren offers face-to-face coaching in her offices in Chicago and Evanston, IL.
